Food trucks hoping for big business at Bridgeport’s Seaside Park


BRIDGEPORT — Soon after acquiring laid off during the coronavirus pandemic from his career with an spot printing business, Lloyd Hopeton Reid determined to get far more serious about applying his culinary competencies to receive a dwelling.

“I’ve been cooking given that I’m little,” claimed the Jamaican-born-and-raised Reid, whose spouse and children moved to Bridgeport in the 1980s and who as an adult has accomplished some catering in his spare time. “I reported, ‘That’s the only factor I could do.’”

So he invested in a food truck, dubbed “Father Murray’s Kitchen,” his nickname participating in cricket.
