Former royal chef on cooking for Princes William and Harry: “They loved a piping bag full of meringue”

Carolyn Robb was the leading chef at Kensington Palace, cooking up some eye-satisfying creations for the royal loved ones — including Princes William and Harry when they had been boys. 

She’s sharing some of her ideal recipes in her new e book, “Tea at the Palace: A Cookbook: 50 Tasty Afternoon Tea Recipes.” This is her 2nd guide, with a 3rd slated to be introduced all over the vacations. 

The South African chef got her begin early: She was just 21 yrs aged just after she impressed Prince Charles and the late Diana, Princess of Wales all through a meal services. She grew to become the initial woman chef for the royal couple.

“I was so motivated I just threw myself into the career,” Robb advised CBS News’ Roxana Saberi 

As element of her teaching, Robb said that she received a crash training course in royal protocol.

Robb was at Kensington Palace in 1997 when the youthful princes had to cope with the sudden loss of life of their mom.
