New Jersey is home to countless amazing Chinese food restaurants, well beyond the standard take-out fare.
But according to one national website, the best place to get Chinese food in the Garden State is in Central Jersey.
“One look at the menu and you’ll see that this isn’t your everyday takeout joint: appetizers include diced rabbit with Szechuan peppercorn vinaigrette and jellyfish with scallion oil, and a section of the menu dedicated to Chengdu specialties includes dan dan noodles, shredded tea smoked duck with onion and red pepper, and fried yam cakes with sesame paste for dessert,” 247WallSt.com wrote. “Along the way you’ll find House Specials that include beef tendon with rice jelly in spicy sauce, sliced conch with minced pork in Szechuan wine sauce, and a stellar Peking duck.”
This isn’t the first accolade for Szechuan House, which NJ.com profiled back in 2013. It was once named one of the top Chinese restaurants in the United States by Top100.com, and was one of the best Chinese food restaurants in NJ Monthly’s 2014 restaurant poll.
