Firstly, you need to analyze the kind of dirt that the utensil has accumulated. Renew also retain vibrancy of wood in the utensil by oiling periodically. Paper towel or piece of clean cloth could be used for administering oil to cooking utensils. Use the mineral oil, food safe oil which is typically used by the restaurants in order to increase longevity of the wooden cooking utensils. The mineral oil is minor laxative. Even regular usage of small quantity of this oil wouldn’t have any adverse effects. In case you are worried then you might allow oil to soak and rewash utensil then.
